Our story
We are an artisan company in its second generation, run by Walter and Luca Cortiana, sons of the founder Giampietro and we are located in Lecco, an Italian district famous and recognized for its metal wire industries.
Our history, founded on its values rather on simple economic success, consists of successful relationships and partnerships across the territory, which have delivered added value to our work and created, year after year, a growing success on the market.
After 45 years specializing in the production of small metal chains, today we are the largest domestic manufacturer of welded chains measuring from 1.30 to 3.90 mm in diameter, made of iron and stainless steel.
In March 2000 the company gained Quality Management System ISO 9001 certification: a tangible starting point for the continuous improvement of our organisation and performances. In April 2020, we also obtained the environmental certification according to the ISO 14001 standard, which is the result of a high-performance production process that is consumption-oriented but has a very low impact on the environment.

In 2009, we achieved 3rd place in the BenchArt project - excellent Lombard artisan enterprises for "quality and production innovation”. In 2017 we won the first place in the national WELFARE INDEX SMEs contest for the small business welfare index rating in the category “handicraft”.
We are a member of the associative system of Confartigianato Companies, and also connected to the university and scientific world in the Lecco territory for innovative and research products.
In addition, we continue to cooperate with associations and institutions for youngsters and students for alternating school and work projects and to spread the culture, ethics and values of work.
In fact, the story is not over yet: we continue to grow, with a look to the past and a vision focused on the future.
