{"id":11610,"date":"2026-05-20T11:54:41","date_gmt":"2026-05-20T09:54:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.catene3c.it\/news-catenificio\/chains-in-design-3c-catenes-contribution-to-the-2026-venice-biennale\/"},"modified":"2026-06-17T11:58:31","modified_gmt":"2026-06-17T09:58:31","slug":"chains-in-design-3c-catenes-contribution-to-the-2026-venice-biennale","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.catene3c.it\/en\/news-catenificio\/chains-in-design-3c-catenes-contribution-to-the-2026-venice-biennale\/","title":{"rendered":"Chains in Design: 3C CATENE&#8217;s Contribution to the 2026 Venice Biennale"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We are proud to have contributed to the creation of Z\u012bnah (Adornment), an installation exhibited at the 61st International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale 2026.<\/p>\n\n<p>For this project, the Venice-based design studio WE EXHIBITH, responsible for coordinating and installing the exhibition, involved us in the supply of more than 1,100 chain cut-link in various lengths, complete with nickel-plated S-hooks.<\/p>\n\n<p>The chains were used to suspend from the pavilion ceiling the various elements that make up the artwork, following the creative concept developed by artist Haitham Al Busafi.<\/p>\n\n<p>This collaboration demonstrates how a seemingly simple component such as a chain can find applications not only in technical and traditional industrial sectors, but also in the worlds of art, architecture and contemporary design.<\/p>\n\n<p>We would like to thank WE EXHIBITH for involving us in this prestigious project.
