{"id":3179,"date":"2023-11-20T11:38:00","date_gmt":"2023-11-20T10:38:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.catene3c.it\/news-catenificio\/energy-efficiency\/"},"modified":"2024-01-24T10:33:25","modified_gmt":"2024-01-24T09:33:25","slug":"energy-efficiency","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.catene3c.it\/en\/news-catenificio\/energy-efficiency\/","title":{"rendered":"New energy efficiency project"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>3C CATENE has concluded an important energy efficiency project started in July 2022.<\/p>\n\n<p>After an initial phase of analysis of company consumption, to identify the most energy-intensive lines on which to intervene, the project strategy was outlined which involved:<br\/>&#8211; Elimination of the gas resource for heating in favour of a new (hot-cool) heat pump air conditioning system.<br\/>&#8211; The replacement of the cooling system of the production machinery with a new generation one<br\/>&#8211; Installation of a photovoltaic system on the roof of the building<\/p>\n\n<p>At present the interventions have made it possible to :<br\/>&#8211; reduce electrical process costs by about 23%<br\/>&#8211; obtain self-generation of electricity equivalent to 55% of the company\u2019s needs<br\/>&#8211; Completely eliminate gas consumption as an energy resource<br\/>Satisfied with the result obtained, the project also allows us to continue our entrepreneurial policy of having a production process with very low environmental impact.<\/p>\n\n<p>Every year we produce about 7 million meters of chain with the use of very few resources :<br\/>&#8211; 0 m3 of heating gas<br\/>&#8211; 100,000 kwh of electricity taken from the grid<br\/>&#8211; 190 m3 of water<br\/>&#8211; 210 litres of oils<br\/>and producing only<br\/>&#8211; 1000 kg of waste<\/p>\n\n<p>For us, therefore, sustainability is not just a word that is fashionable today but we really believe in it!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>3C CATENE has concluded an important energy efficiency project started in July 2022.
