The working load of the chain

Although the type of chains we produce is not specific for lifting and traction, we are still able to manage a workload for each welded chain in our offer.

The working load, indicated for each item in the catalogue, is the maximum limit to which the chain must be subjected. Below this value it can be safely used without undergoing inelastic deformation and without breakage.

It is therefore important to have a clear idea of the final use of the chain from the beginning in order to identify the article suitable for the purpose. In addition to the size of the link and the finishing / packaging, the workload is one of the important elements for the choice of a small chain.

Finally, it should be noted that the chain must always be used in a linear manner and in standard conditions (avoiding tearing, twisting, wear, deformation, etc.)
